Shore A, D, 00 and IRHD hardness

These methods can determine the ability to impression of plastics and rubbers with Shore A, D and 00 type shore hardness testers.  Type 00 and A is used for softer materials, type D is for harder materials.  By the method, the hardness can be defined at the start and after loading time. We measure the impression of the needle into the specimen (during specific conditions).  The hardness is inversely proportional to the impression. The results depend on the form of the needle, the force and the loading time. That is the reason why the comparison is not possible.
